At THE SKIN HYGIENIST, we believe in REACHING GOALS, with SCIENCE-BACKED & HOLISTIC TREATMENTS in a fun and relaxing environment.

Professional facials deeply cleanse, exfoliate, and nourish your skin in ways your at-home routine simply can’t.
They keep your complexion balanced, hydrated, and glowing year-round.
Deep cleansing: Clears congestion, removes buildup, and resets your pores.
Instant radiance: Smooths texture, boosts hydration, and revives dull skin.
Customized care: Each facial is tailored to your skin type + goals for the best results.
Most facials include an exfoliation step. This is determined during the consultation phase of your facial. This is decided based on your goals and skin tolerance
Dermaplaning - An advanced exfoliation technique that removes the upper layer of the epidermis, while also removing the "peach fuzz"
Enzymes - A wide variety of enzymes that'll be selected depending on goals. They dissolve the loose upper layers of the epidermis
Diamond Buff - A gritty diamond crusted paddle to gently remove, scrub off the upper layers of skin
LED light therapy has been a well-studied add-on to encourage not only pain relief, but also an increase in collagen and elasticity
Red - Used to calm inflammation and increase collagen and elastin
Blue - Used to minimize the bacteria that causes acne
Near Infrared - Used to minimize pain, swelling and bruising
We use the Celluma panel, an FDA-cleared device with decades of being used in treatment rooms all over the world. Besides using this in our facials, we also use it after microneedling to encourage reliable healing.
We understand that Korean skincare has increased in popularity over the past couple of years. We have studied how and why this has happened. We have evaluated the companies, ingredients, and philosophies of each company we use to incorporate into The Skin Hygienist.
Korean skincare is incorporated into our Chemical Peels, our Customized Masks, Microneedling Serums, finishing products, and Homecare recommendations.
Companies we have invested in are VitalSkin, KRX, and Dermathod
No-peel peels are the perfect treatment if you want brighter, smoother, fresher skin without the heavy peeling phase.
They gently but powerfully exfoliate below the surface to refresh your complexion, so you can get that post-peel glow and still live your life.
Zero downtime: Little to no flaking or shedding.
Gentle but effective: Targets dullness, texture, and discoloration without irritation.
Year-round safe: Ideal for anyone wanting real results year round,

We don't just treat the skin above your neck. At the Skin Hygienist, we recognize that treating skin for people living in Mesa requires more. That's why we include the face, neck and decollate in every 60 min customized facial.
Customized truly means customized. Every appointment is different dependent on your skin and goals.
Customization begins and includes:
Type of cleanser, exfoliation and massage medium
Type of serums included: Korean, American, Animal (PRDN) or plant based
Types of Exfoliation: Dermaplaning, Enzyme, or diamond-tipped.
Yes, we do see teens for their facials. We see girls as early as 12, and boys as early as 15. We chose these age restrictions because of maturity. At these ages, kids can take responsibility for their skincare. While we don't specialize in acne, we can get your teen started on proper skincare habits. Your teen may need extractions. These can be uncomfortable. During their first appointment, we will only move forward with extractions with their permission and participation.
No. Never. Not at all. When we say customized, we mean it. We don't believe in surprise pricing. We don't believe in add-ons. It's all incorporated into the pricing. any sort of pricing conversations will be ahead of time, and before you are on the treatment table.
It depends. Under 30yo, your skin turns over every 4 weeks. After 30 years old, we say, "How many years old you are is how many days it takes for the skin to cycle." If you are 40, then we see you every 40 days or less. 75 years old? Every 75 days or less.
