At THE SKIN HYGIENIST, we believe in REACHING GOALS, with SCIENCE-BACKED & HOLISTIC TREATMENTS in a fun and relaxing environment.

Microneedling creates tiny micro-channels in the skin to kickstart collagen + elastin production, giving you smoother, firmer, more even toned skin, WITHOUT aggressive downtime.
Boosts collagen naturally: Softens fine lines, acne marks, and uneven texture.
Minimal downtime: A little pink for a day, then glowing.
Real, lasting results: Skin keeps improving for weeks, months and even YEARS as collagen rebuilds.
You appointment consists of:
You’re receiving two appointments because true collagen change happens through both controlled injury and controlled exfoliation.
2 Facial area treatments. Facial MN includes treating the Face + Neck or Decollate.
Skin analysis scan at every MN visit so we’re not guessing, we’re treating based on data.
Post care is included at every visit and chosen specifically for that visit's treatment.
Micro-current devices used before or during the treatment to release ATP. ATP encourages better results, faster.
Celluma (FDA cleared) LED light therapy to treat wrinkles, acne is used during your appointment to facilitate even more healing.
Over 200 treatments performed, ensuring knowledge of tips and tricks to get the best results for Clients.

This really depends on the client's tolerance and the needle's depth. You will be more sensitive during menstruation. We offer a 5% lidocaine topical cream to help lessen any discomfort. Most clients call it a 2/10 on the discomfort and usually only on 2 small points of the forehead
Pricing depends on the serums used and the number of sessions performed. We determine these factors during a consultation appointment where we talk goals and take an in-depth 3Dskin Analysis.
Microchanneling uses more needles, is less invasive and is used more for product penetration to make changes within the skin. Microneedling uses less needles, requires more downtime and is used to stimulate cellular changes within the skin + product penetration
Before: after we decide a treatment plan, I ask that you have no skin treatments or sunburns within 2 weeks of the appointment. I also ask, with your Dr's permission, that you stop any Rx retinoids like tretinoin or Retin-a. With microneedling, I ask that you take 3 days to stay calm, clean, and cool. No heavy exercise, no cleaning out the garage, and you have to be diligent about your SPF use for a minimum of 2 weeks post-treatment. You can wear makeup 24 hours after treatment. Your skin may get flaky 3-5 days post treatment, especially if its your first treatment,
Here at the Skin Hygienists, I take serum selection very seriously. We use a mix of Korean and American made serums. Each serum is chosen on the goals of the client and the safety of the procedure. Serums chosen for microneedling can also be used for microchanneling, but not all microchanneling serums can be used for microneedling. There are also some that we are able to needle into the skin and there are others that are applied after needling.
Bloody faces is antiquated. Here at the Skin Hygienist, we have always known that bloody faces trigger a frantic healing response in the body and can produce scar collagen. I wear loupes (fancy magnifier glasses) during your treatment so I can see if/when we have pinpoint bleeding. A few dots of blood here and there are fine. What we are really aiming for is a light flush of your skin.
Acne scars respond incredibly well to microneedling. Microneedling helps lay collagen in a more natural horizontal pattern vs the scar's vertical pattern. This helps the scars become less visible over time. Microneedling is not the first choice when treating acne, but can be used for the treatment in a select few clients.
It's important to treat our neck and upper chest as well, nobody wants a tight face with a loose neck. We treat loose skin anywhere on the body. This image is 2 years post pregnancy.
